Real Challenges, Real Help

What Rachel Helps With

Every family's version of hard is different. These are the challenges parents bring most often.

Tantrums & Meltdowns

Understanding what sits underneath the explosion, how to respond in the moment without escalating, and how to reduce how often they happen.

Bedtime & Routine Battles

When every transition becomes a negotiation, from getting dressed to getting into bed, Rachel helps you build routines your child can actually cooperate with.

Big Emotions

Helping your child name, ride out, and recover from feelings that are bigger than they are, and giving you the words and tools for those moments.

Additional Needs

Tailored support for children with ADHD, autism, or sensory sensitivities, where standard advice often misses the mark and strategies need genuine adaptation.

Sibling Dynamics

Rivalry, rough play, and the arrival of a new baby: practical ways to lower the temperature between siblings and protect everyone's sleep and sanity.

Behaviour & Sleep Together

Overtiredness fuels behaviour, and behaviour battles wreck sleep. Rachel works both sides of the loop, with the whole SleepBaker team behind her.

Rachel
Behavioural Support Consultant

Rachel is SleepBaker's behavioural support consultant, working one-on-one with families whose days are being run by challenging behaviour. Her approach starts from a simple truth: behaviour is communication. Rather than handing you a list of consequences, she helps you decode what your child is actually telling you, then builds gentle, consistent responses around it.

Rachel supports children with and without additional needs, including families navigating ADHD, autism, and sensory sensitivities. Every strategy is adapted to your child's temperament and capacity, because the approach that calms one child can overwhelm another. Parents leave her sessions with practical tools, realistic expectations, and, often for the first time in a while, real confidence for the week ahead.

03

Follow your plan

You leave with clear, gentle strategies matched to your child: what to do in the heat of the moment, how to prevent the flashpoints you can prevent, and how to stay consistent when you are exhausted.

Questions

Behavioural Support FAQ

What does the consultation cover?
Whatever behaviour challenge your family is facing: tantrums and meltdowns, bedtime resistance, routine battles, big emotions, sibling conflict, or behaviour tangled up with sleep. Rachel assesses what is driving the behaviour and gives you practical, gentle strategies to respond.
Do you support children with additional needs?
Yes. Rachel supports families of children with additional needs, including ADHD, autism, and sensory sensitivities. Every strategy is adapted to your child rather than pulled from a standard playbook, because what works for one child can genuinely backfire for another.
How much does it cost?
The behavioural support consultation is $320.00 plus GST, and it runs one-on-one with Rachel so the entire session is focused on your child and your situation.
Is behaviour connected to sleep?
Very often, yes. Overtired children have bigger reactions and far less capacity to regulate, while behaviour battles at bedtime undermine sleep night after night. Rachel works on both sides of that loop, and because she is part of the SleepBaker team, sleep support is right there if your family needs it too.
What ages does Rachel work with?
Rachel works with toddlers through to school-age children. Tell us your child's age when booking and she will tailor the session accordingly, since a two-year-old's meltdown and a seven-year-old's defiance need very different toolkits.
